Waterfowl Hunts

Our goose and duck hunts take place in harvested corn, soybean fields here in southeast Wisconsin. We offer 1 or 2 day hunts. We can make lodging arrangements for you if you wish. ( Meals, Lodging are not included). You are welcome to join us for a late breakfast after the mornings hunt.

Preparations begin well before first light where the hunters are expected to help setup several dozen decoys as well as teardown at the end of the day.

As the light begins to break , be ready for flocks of mallards and geese dropping into the decoys. By mid to late November the northern ducks come down and it’s not unusual to have several hundred mallards working the decoys over your head. Most days the ducks work over the decoys just before shooting light, then they lay low until a little later in the morning. After the ducks make there first fly overs the geese start to work the decoys. You’ll see any where between 1 to 150 geese seting up and coming into the spread. We let the geese and ducks get within 20 yards before we call for the shot. This adds up to some pretty fast in your face action, but lets us cripple far less birds. Snow and Speckle bellys on occasion come to the spread.

The blinds that we use are Avery layout blinds. They are comfortable to shoot from and you will find that you’ll get used to shooting out of then rather quickly. Good camoflage patterns are Realtree Shadow Grass, Advantage Max-4, Advantage Wetlands.

Payment Schedule

The deposit for a waterfowl hunt is $60.00 this can be paid at any time. Once you pay your deposit you’ll be placed on our list and be able to pick your hunt days in the order that they are received once we find out the season dates. Your final payment is due before the morning of your hunt.

Something to remember, field hunting picks up after early November it coincides with the harvesting of the crops. The goose hunting stays hot until the end of December as most birds winter right here.  Youth hunters are more than welcome there cost is, $60 each with a $20 deposit
